|Experience:||Prior to January 2017 when I established my mediation practice, I practiced law in private practice for 37 years - in both CA (1979-2016) and Oregon (1981-1984), focusing on civil litigation and related issues, including insurance coverage and bad faith, professional liability, commercial disputes and a wide variety of contractual and legal issues in many areas of the law. My work as a practicing lawyer including trying cases and handling matters through settlement, appeal or other conclusion. In addition to work for US based clients (insurers, reinsurers & self-insureds), I handled matters for the London, Continental Europe, Asia and Bermuda insurance markets. |

Defended insurance bad faith cases and professional liability cases, agent-broker, provided coverage advice in matters with a wide variety of underlying issues (Environmental, Product Liability, Employment, Construction Defect, E&O, D&O, Agricultural, Fraud & Business Disputes, cyber, etc.). Was co-chair of Firm's Insurance Law, Cyber & Privacy Law and International Law Practice Groups. Was firm-wide Managing Partner of M&C from January 2008 - December 2013.
